Daily Groc is committed to delivering your groceries quickly, safely, and reliably. We operate our own dedicated fleet of delivery riders in Barpeta and surrounding areas to ensure your orders arrive fresh and on time. This policy explains how our delivery system works.
2. Delivery Area
We currently deliver to select areas within and around Barpeta, Assam. Our serviceable areas are determined by pincode.
- Pincode Check: You can check if your area is serviceable by entering your pincode on our app or website during checkout.
- Area Expansion: We are continuously expanding our delivery coverage. If your area is not currently serviceable, please check back regularly or contact us to request coverage.
Orders placed from non-serviceable areas will not be processed, and any payment made will be fully refunded.
3. Delivery Methods & Timelines

4. Delivery Charges
- Delivery charges, if applicable, are calculated based on your order value and delivery distance.
- All applicable delivery charges are clearly displayed at the checkout screen before you confirm your order.
- Free delivery may be available on orders above certain minimum order values or during promotional periods.
- Additional charges may apply for orders requiring special handling or packaging.
We may update our delivery fee structure from time to time. Any changes will be reflected at checkout.
5. Order Processing
Here's how your order is processed from placement to delivery:
- Order Placed: You place an order through the app/website and receive an order confirmation.
- Order Accepted: Our team reviews and accepts your order.
- Packing: Your items are freshly picked, quality-checked, and packed with care.
- Dispatched: A dedicated delivery rider is assigned and your order is dispatched.
- Out for Delivery: Track your rider in real-time through the app.
- Delivered: Your groceries arrive at your doorstep. Inspect and accept the delivery.
You will receive status updates via SMS, WhatsApp, or push notifications at each stage.
6. Safe & Hygienic Delivery
We take the safety and quality of your groceries seriously:
- Temperature Control: Perishable items are packed with care to maintain freshness during transit.
- Secure Packaging: All items are packed in food-safe bags to prevent damage and contamination.
- Trained Riders: Our delivery partners are trained in safe handling and hygiene practices.
- Contactless Option: You can opt for contactless delivery where the rider places your order at your doorstep.
7. Failed & Undelivered Orders
If delivery cannot be completed due to:
- No one available: If no one is present at the delivery address to receive the order.
- Wrong address: If the address provided is incorrect or incomplete.
- Inaccessible location: If the delivery location is inaccessible or unsafe.
- Customer unreachable: If we are unable to reach you via phone after multiple attempts.
In such cases, we may attempt to redeliver or cancel the order. For prepaid orders, a refund may be issued after deducting applicable delivery charges. For COD orders, no charges will be applied.
